giant insider newspaper. And with me as always, it's Chris Bizignano, the beat writer for the Giant Insider.

And normally on a Friday podcast, we're talking about the predictions for the weekend. We go into who

the Giants are playing. But since we were all witnesses, or I should say victims, to last night's

debacle, I think this one, Chris, we'll talk about the state of affairs in the Meadowlands

and kind of give a state of the union of the Giants.

And let me start off by saying right now that the Giants somehow this year are actually worse than they were last year.

Without Ben McAdoe, with a whole new offensive line, with a rookie running back for the ages, a guy who is so talented, better than I thought he was going to be.

A new coach, the same quarterback that we've had for a while.

A revamped defense.

New guys.

New everything.

New GM.

Yet we are worse.

Absolutely worse than we were last year.

Chris, tell me I'm wrong.

I wish I could tell you you were wrong, Jerry, but I can't, but, yeah, it's worse than last year.

I don't know how to explain it anymore.

You know, the defense was pretty decent beginning of year.

That's gone now, right?

I mean, they can't really stop anybody now.
