It's been a long shot to begin with, but now it's almost impossible. It's mathematically still possible, but you need some major, major upsets. Before, you just needed help. You needed help, and you needed a lot of it. Now you need some results you're just not going to get. So that basically put the nail in the coffin of the Patriots postseason chances, which has officially turned this season into now playing out the string and post-mortems, discussing how the Patriots got here and where they go from here. But now that all of a sudden Brady's not here anymore, now we want to complain about it. It doesn't make any sense to me. It's not very consistent now, is it?

You get one of those quarterbacks. You get the calls. You know it. You benefited for 20 years until you find that next guy. You're not going to get the calls. That's the way it works. It's almost like people that were complaining about that call in the Hail Mary are just giant babies. Unbelievable. Yeah, kind of. Or maybe it just is.
