I love having authors on who have really interesting books because generally they're good thinkers and they present their arguments well.

And the next guy, talk about having the credentials. Kurt Schlichter, what, colonel in the infantry, a trial lawyer, stand-up comedian, basically a Bonavent and Social Commentator. How'd I do? Yeah, that's pretty, I was a stand-up. I was a stand-up comic for about five years. Yeah, there you go. So it's kind of the same as being a lawyer, isn't it? You know, stand-up is a great way to learn how to talk to juries. Really? It is a tremendous way. I'm one of those weird people, some people are saying, you know, my greatest fear is standing up in front of people. I gravitate towards it. I want to be in front of people. And, you know, but people get nervous in front of juries.

Well, if you want a tough, you have to do what you want, it's tough. Try and get them to laugh, especially when they haven't been, they haven't even started drinking yet. Oh, yeah, that's the tough one. Yeah. Then, yeah, so, yeah, it was a lot of fun. And it's also, it's good mental exercise, too, because you've got to think.

You've got to be fast on your feet. Just to set the stage here, we were talking before we started recording this, you're talking about, you know, your background, and you're in California, you go back and forth, Texas, in California. In California, you know, getting her carry permit and going through the hoops and all that and said,

yeah, but you were also the guy who commanded thousands of people who had full automatic weapons.

That doesn't make any sense.

No, it doesn't make any sense.

The whole thing is stupid.

And I am hoping that, you know, the Supreme Court will come through and recognize the necessity of constitutional carry.

I find it odd that I have a right that, A, by any standard, I'm not only eminently qualified to do it,

but I'm eminently qualified if you're going to decide whether people are qualified,

I'm the guy who could do it because I literally did it for the state of California and the

United States. Right. The, the, I think I know when it's, and I also, again, also a lawyer,

I know the law.

I think I would be a perfect plaintiff to attack the whole pathetic system.

I resent the idea that I would have to go get a psychological test.
