friend of mine, an amazing person, and also my esteemed co-host and the

creator of The Large Nurdron Collider Podcast.

Hi Jonathan, hi everybody.

Thanks for letting me talk at you again.

Now in the last episode we started off talking about some various sci-fi gadgets. You were telling us about their role within

different science fiction or speculative fiction I should say because some of this stuff really falls

into fantasy more than sci-fi.

But their role within speculative fiction, what purpose do they serve?

And then I was the bad guy with the pen popping all the balloons of possibility saying how this was truly fiction as opposed to reality.

You crushed my spirit, Jonathan.

As is my want, Ariel, you've known me for like, I think about 20 years now and so we're coming up on 20 years I think

2021 will be 20 years since we first met and And so I think, or first met and knew each other's names. I think you might have seen me at the

Renaissance Festival before you work there. But yeah, I have been crushing your dreams for 20 years, so I guess there should be no surprise at this point.

Well, I want to, I just want to state as it's important for people to remember that at the end of the last episode we had decided that

Dr. Who has so far been the most accurate science fiction show yes yes despite

it in their technology.
