entrepreneur, creative director, and storyteller,

Pira Jalardi.

Hi, Pira, Welcome to the show!

Can you kick things off by introducing yourself?

I'm Piera, and I'm kind of a creative, multi-hyphenate.

I'm an entrepreneur, I'm a writer, an artist, storyteller, and most importantly, I'm a mom to an amazing six-year-old named Viva.

Sounds like you get to be creative in a lot of different ways. Have you always been so creative?

What did you like to do as a kid? I always loved making things. I used to make dollhouse furniture

with my dad. I went beachcombing on the beaches of Maine looking for treasures,

and I used to do business brainstorms around my kitchen table as a kid. Still do business

brainstorms, but now I get to do them for my job, which feels like magic. And I'm just

exploring different aspects of creativity. You were literally a business girl at age eight.

That's amazing.

When did you discover your love for fashion and design?

I feel like my mom dressed me until I was 12 years old,

and then all of a sudden I had all these wild ideas about getting myself dressed,

and I would mix the strangest combinations of clothes together.

I loved going to the thrift store.
