A big reason why I advocate for everything I care about and not just kind of pigeonholing myself to one thing is like, I've always thought about it like this.

Like, I'm an entire person. Me being gay is tied to me being black. Me being black is tied to me being a woman. All of these things are so intersectional.

To exactly my existence in any space that I come into.

So I'm like, I can't ever really leave a part of myself out.

One, and two, I also just like at some point found it empowering to talk about things I was scared to talk about, you know. When I see people working towards the good of a greater planet for us all to exist in, I feel so, so deeply inspired.

And how can we all tap into this energy? We'll also take care of our own minds and hearts and

mental health in the midst of how hopeless the future can sometimes feel. How can we begin to

take action through that? Today's guest is somebody I've been wanting to have on for like

over a year probably, maybe even two years. I followed her on TikTok so long ago and I wanted

to have her on the podcast for so long but she was just off gallivanting in like Europe or something,

was it? Everywhere. Everywhere. Everywhere. And I wanted to have her on because she inspires me so, so, so deeply.
