Today we are talking about a report from Germany on Model 3 costing.

Tesla stock on Friday finished up 2.49%, $291.82, this compared to the Nasdaq up $1.82 as compared to the NASDAQ up 1.51 percent.

The biggest news over the last few days, especially for investors, has been this report coming

from German engineers through a German magazine called Vichhevauh, which is actually a sister

They were the ones that had the interview with the Bosch CEO that I still think was one of the most interesting topics that we've covered so far.

So the German magazine reported that this group of German engineers, which to my knowledge is anonymous at this point, but they were commissioned by German

automakers to buy early Tesla Model 3s, have them shipped over to Germany, and do a complete

tear down and analysis of those Model 3s.

One of the most interesting things that came out of this

analysis was that the estimated cost of materials for and remember this is the long-range

premium model three from these German engineers was $18,000.

And then based on what they knew about other automakers production processes,

they assumed another 10,000 in addition

for labor and production costs.
