0:12.7	Donald Trump and 18 of his allies in Georgia is moving pretty fast and they just have days
0:19.8	to turn themselves in. It's coming up next Friday. We've got a great lineup of smart and
0:24.9	thoughtful voices, Jamil Jaffer, Kara Swisher, Matt Lewis, Gwen Kee, Spleming, Daniel Dale, and
0:31.1	my interview with the one and only Morgan Freeman. But first, an ironic twist, everyone, before
0:38.8	9-11 and of course before becoming Trump's wingman, a man by the name of Rudy Giuliani made
0:44.7	his name for putting mobsters behind bars. He did so, I might add, using the very same
0:50.9	laws that are being used against him. Now, two decades ago, he actually wrote in his book
0:57.3	Unleadership, but I'm quoting here, I dreamed up the tactic of using the Federal Racketeer
1:04.4	Influence and Corruption Organizations Act to prosecute the Mafia leadership.
1:09.7	Unquote, otherwise known as Rico for those falling along. Now, at the time, the law actually
1:16.6	was relatively new. But Giuliani, well, he popularized it, making it the model for state
1:22.6	and federal prosecutors for decades to come when it comes to large groups attempting a
1:27.9	type of conspiracy, including, I might add, Fannie Willis. The Fulton County DA is now charging
1:34.8	Rudy Giuliani with several crimes for his efforts to allegedly overturn the election, including
1:41.3	Racketeering. Now, the Rico law, something that he has, well, he's championed for years.
1:50.9	The upper level people are not used to being convicted, and they're certainly not used
1:54.4	to being convicted under racketeering, charging them with violations of the Federal Racketeer
1:59.2	Influence and Corrupt Organization Statute, the Rico Statute. This is a new way of doing
2:03.2	business and a much more effective way to really crush them.
2:06.4	If you look at our other racketeering indictments, you will see that those are the same things
2:11.0	that we do in all of these cases.
