We are going to have a rich time in God's Word in just a minute.

But before we do that and read the teaching text, I just wanted to just share a couple

things that are important reminders for us as a church.

I'm not sure if you're noticing this.

There is an openness to the person of Jesus that I have never witnessed in my life right now. And it's just a reminder that people are looking for meaning,

they're looking for hope, and God has positioned you in their life

to point them towards it. I was talking to a young man last night who had just become a Christian

five months ago, brand new to faith, didn't grow up in a Christian home, radical encounter

with the person of Jesus, and told me, he's like, hey, this is really wild. I've, I've

six friends who have started encountering Jesus, reading the Bible, having their lives

completely transformed. And there's been years where we haven't seen six people come to Jesus.

So this is remarkable. It's happening in almost every industry as well.

There are prayer meetings popping up in Broadway. There are prayer meetings happening all over the

city. Goldman Sachs has prayer sets. That's just extraordinary. Love to see that.

There's an outreach group to flight attendants called NYC Fly Girls.

Last night they saw the first person in their ministry give their life to Jesus yesterday.

So I just want to say this to you.

Dallas Willard said, find out where God is working and jump in. So I just, I just want you to know God is doing that. Pay attention. Be aware. People are open. Don't say no for people. Okay.

Really, really important.

Excited about what God's doing. I want to say that as well. If you're here today, you're not a Christian, you're not a follower of Jesus. And you've come to New York because you have a vision

for your life. It's pretty refined. You've been on a path to get here,

well educated, thoughtful,
