Hey, are you surprised? Like, I could watch the evening news, the Sunday shows, and never hear a word about Ukraine anymore.

Why is that?

Well, I think we're in election overload, frankly.

And war and the suffering of the Ukrainian people are literally taking a backseat, unfortunately.

But how is the situation going there? It looks like a stalemate at this point, kind of like

when we were in Vietnam. No, it's not, actually. Ukrainians are retaking territory,

and it's been quite remarkable and slow,, but nonetheless very methodical on their part.

And the aid that they're receiving from the United States and the Europeans is really critical in doing this.

The Russians, as a result of losing territory, and not able to mount any offensive whatsoever

you know i have gone to a mobilization of sorts to try to get another 150,000 or 200,000

troops into the battlefield and that is not going well because the thousands that have showed up so far somewhere

in a neighborhood of about 50,000 or so are not particularly well trained and even worse

they're not motivated for this fight their morale is very low and as, they've been thrown into the fight and have taken some significant casualties already.

What Putin wants to do here is stop the bleeding and prevent the Ukrainians from taking any more territory.
