There is some new information coming out in the death of Gene Hackman and his wife, Betsy

Harakara. They've released the police video footage of the search inside the home after

the bodies were discovered. And it's, you know, it's sort of sad because here you see two very prominent people,

superstar actor Gene Hackman.

And clearly, maybe they like their privacy so much that they didn't have enough help

to take care of each other.

And of course, Mr. Hackman totally, I think,

relied on Betsy Harakara to be his caregiver. And once she passed, he was basically left on his

own. And a man with Alzheimer's and heart heart disease 95 years old, we know it was a

tragic ending. So police body cam footage released by the Santa Fe County Sheriff's Office reveals

heartbreaking scenes inside the home of actor Gene Hackman and his wife, Betsy Arakawa,

whose bodies were discovered in deputy.

The 11-minute video shows deputies entering the couple's $4 million Santa Fe residents

where their German shepherd sat beside its Arakao's lifeless body

visibly distressed. Authorities discovered Araikawa, who was 65 years old in the bathroom on February

26th the same day Hackman's body was found nearby in a mudroom. A deputy noted signs of rigor mortis,

adding that it appeared,

hackman had collapsed with trying to exit the home.
