There's no explanation for that one.

It's hard to imagine, but it's true.

So, folks, I want to address a topic that long, long ago, one of my very first episodes back in 2019 was on simple tips and hacks, basically DIY workarounds for backcountry hunters.

And I recorded that one with my old friend Joe Kennedy.

I grew up hunting with him.

Joe grew up without a lot of material possessions.

His dad always made sure he had a good rifle. But other than that, they made do. They made a lot of their own clothing.

They brain tanned some buckskin, and each of them had a lucky shirt. Yeah. Cool. And so he had some

really good ideas. And I think Ron might have some similar ideas because you started doing some pretty hardcore deep country hunting long before we had the vast array of technical clothing and boots and so forth that we have now.

Oh, yeah. Technical clothing when I started out was Army Navy surplus wool.

Yes.

But it was great stuff. and it was so inexpensive.
