We turn our attention to the UMA. of the

which has not improved

since the U.S. left Kabul, nor has the situation in Pakistan stabilized given the

provocations in extreme remarks by Imran Khan, the former Prime Minister who is now detained.

Mr. Ambassador, Nawaz Sharif, we touched upon

its possibility recently.

Nawaz Sharif, the elder brother of the

Prime Minister who's standing for re-election, has returned

to Pakistan making speeches in all directions, looking to, as I understand it, achieve some

sort of influence over the Pakistani public and also have

what looks to be a stabilizing relationship with the army.

Does he want to be prime minister again?

Is that the reason he's making these big speeches?
