The news from Israel right now has to do with Gaza, yes,

but there's also news from the north so first Gaza

Raffa is the southernmost part of the Gaza Strip. This is a very small piece of the world

That's what they've been reduced to.

And the hostages, maybe 65, maybe 75 people alive.

Nobody knows. Israel's intention is to go into the tunnels

of Rafa and end the war. About a million people are in the way. There is no

sensible way to do this. I'm told it'll be a

number of weeks as Israel prepares for the final assault. There is the

opportunity for Hamas to surrender. There is the opportunity for Hamas to surrender.

There is the opportunity for Egypt to open the Raffak gates.

There's said to be a negotiation in Cairo right now
