I'm your host, Kerry Mielstein, and I'm so excited to have with me today our guest.

This is Gaila Marie Rosenberg, who has been teaching in religious education as an adjunct

teacher for, I don't know, a long time now.

I mean, I don't want to make either of us sound too old, but for quite a while.

And I have enjoyed her and her teachings there.

And I've especially enjoyed a book that she came out with, I guess, about a year ago now.

It's called Our Savior from Self-Doubt.

We'll try and remember, I always say I'll put things in the notes and then more often than not I forget.

But I will try and remember to put a link in the show. Now, it's our

savior from self-doubt. A fantastic book. It's one that I want my children and many members of

my ward and friends to read. I think there's a lot of great stuff in there. So welcome, Gaila Marie.

Let's see. I started teaching as a graduate student in 1990 and have been teaching part-time ever since. I took a break for a few years when my daughters were really little and taught in the family sciences department and in the school of family life for a while. And then I went over to

the department of church history and doctrine and have been there ever since. And so I taught

living prophets for a while. But the course that I have taught the most and that I'm

currently teaching is called the Eternal Family.

Which is one of the most important courses we have.

I mean, this is the gospel in action, I believe.

So just a really important course.

It's so important in understanding our relationship with God about his plan,
