When last we left the runaways, Apex the Wild Man, Louise the scavenger, Alvin the mechanic, Cynthia the nurse, and Theo, the combat medic.

They have been scattered throughout the Emerald Acropolis.

Theo, being shown a budding mushroom that is said to absorb radiation by orchid.

Alvin and Louise accompanied old, old Cleas to the animal pens to make some repairs,

while Apex and Cynthia were in an elevator shaft with Johann,

listening in on a conversation

with an entity known only as the preacher.

The two discussed the runaway's presence, and the preacher warned Johann of the Brotherhood

of Steel's disposition.

This conversation ended with Johann still refusing the preacher and his people entry into his land.

Promising patience, the conversation ended, but quickly afterwards, the Acropolis was assailed by a swarm of angry-looking black bugs.

Now with the buzzing Briggins bested, a quiet tension settles on the people of the Acropolis,

having survived their first major obstacle.
