When last we left the runaways, Apex the Wildman, Alvin the mechanic, Louise the scavenger

in Cynthia the nurse. They had split into two separate groups, one heading back to Riverside

to retrieve their vehicle and the other to the St. Louis Zoo in order to feed the animals

that were still residing there, learning that the loose Yalguay had found itself a snack

in the form of a dead archer. Apex was pleased, and Alvin set forth on building a timed

release mechanism to feed the gorillas. Rejoining in the morning, the gang set off after

a brief scare with a blood trail. Now arriving at the St. Louis Science Center, the gang spotted

what Dave saw to be generation one since, a sight he'd never thought he'd see again.

Opting to play it safe and take the side entrance, they were shocked and amazed by what

100 feet high into a room that is oddly cramped looking. The walls are lined with small

fossils that must be thousands of years old and large, old skull of some ancient beast

lies in a corner display, a display that contains fake greenery and trees. And in the center,

you see two creatures, a trihorned rotund beast with a leathery crust on its head, lying

down with a large bloody gash in its side and standing triumphantly above it is something

reminiscent of a creature you've all seen before. It's slitted at eyes, stared down at

its prey, its large dagger like teeth, caked in blood. You all hear a throaty growl reverberate
