When, last we left the runaways, Apex the Wildman, Alvin the mechanic, Louise the scavenger

and Cynthia the nurse, the gang took a trip to Earth City in order to deal with an infestation

of myorex. After sending explosives inside of the myorelock nest, they'd awoke in the locals,

and soon they were battling with the crustaceous creeps, as well as their king, after a brief

scuffle, and a couple of bumps and bruises, the runaways emerged victorious, taking the myorelock

king's head back as proof of their mighty deeds. Searching the compound further, Louise

managed to find an old set of scrapped power armor, which the gang eagerly took up out of

the muck, and hauled it back to Riverside, but not with some damage to their vehicle. After

convincing fast men to look over it and repair it as best he could, the gang proceeded with

their day, eager to greet the new one, with a fresh set of eyes. What will they decide?

Or will they be their next exploits? I know now, on tonight's episode of Gateway.

Apex is like, if this is the next day, Apex is just pacing around in front of the clothing

shop until it opens.

You see the proprietress of the clothing shop sort of walking towards her establishment, and

she locks eyes with you. She starts walking a bit slower. Hello, Apex. Hi. I'm assuming you're

ready for your gear. Nods vigorously. Okay. Well, let me unlock the shop and I'll retrieve

it for you. Smile's with gratitude. She's like slowly reaches behind her, pulls out a key,

unlocks the door and walks in, and she retreats to the back, and as she does, you wait for

maybe another minute or so before she brings out a bundle of the items you requested,

including the sort of, she's got like a set of leather braces that appear to be the inlay
