Summary

Jim Murray is flying solo for Saturday's show and starts thinks off by looking at the status of Rob Gronkowski of the Patriots heading into the bye week. Was the loss against the Titans a fluke or indicative of the bigger issues the team has? And will we see Gronk in prime form again this year or have injuries put an end to those hopes. Jim dissects it all and also talks gambling with Joe Murray of the Bankroll Boys in the final hour of the show.

Just call them up on this Saturday Gaspur Hey. Gaspur. And Murray. Just called him up on this Saturday. Gaspur. Hey, Mari. Cassper. Hey, Mare. Gaspur. And Mare. Gaspur. All right. From the town fair tire studio, it is a Gaspherlish, Gaspur and Mari here on 985. The sports up. Chris actually off for the next couple of Saturdays. He's traveling for the holidays. So you have me, Big Jim Murray, alongside one half of the bankroll boys. Joe Murray here until 2 o'clock when we'll be leading you into Notre Dame and Syracuse football. And maybe we can get some insight on to how to actually wager on that game. Perhaps some other games this weekend. Come up in a little bit with Joe Murray here. A huge win for the Boston Celtics last night over the Toronto Raptors, a game that I called a must win on Felger and Mas yesterday. And we'll get to that coming up at noon with the Sportsubs Celtics show because I think there is a lot to unpack from that game from Kyrie Irving's dominance to the aggressive nature overall of the offense.

1:13.8

I would certainly like to see more of Jason Tatum attacking the rim like he did last night.

1:17.2

That was great.

1:18.4

So some of the bad, like Jalen Brown, essentially getting straight up benched in the fourth quarter late and all of overtime.

1:24.5

So we'll get to that coming up in a little less than an hour, Sports Up Celtic show, which starts at noon. In the meantime, I do want to spend some time of the Patriots. And how selfishly I have to admit, I hate that they're on a buy this week. And for the team, obviously, the timing couldn't be any better. We're 11 weeks in, so they're obviously beat up physically. They could use a break.

1:44.5

I have to imagine they're probably feeling pretty beat up mentally, at least some of these guys,

1:49.3

after they get throttled by a mostly mediocre Titans team last Sunday. But for me,

1:55.9

like I said, selfishly, I hate that they're on a by week this week because I hate having to sit here and wait until now after Thanksgiving to keep wondering whether or not this year's Patriots team might really suck as bad as I think that they do.

2:10.9

And it's just too much time for me, again selfishly, personally, to sit here and let my leftover bad feelings from last Sunday fester,

2:20.6

just with each passing day.

2:23.4

And there's a lot of bad feelings, having gone and spent the money personally to go see that

2:27.7

game.

2:28.0

I do a road trip every year for like 14 years now.

2:30.1

And that one?

2:30.8

Oh, that's one of the worst.

2:32.0

So I sit here wondering, what the hell's wrong with Tom Brady?
