We're broadcasting high above the practice field here at Gillette Stadium. Again, Gasper Murray, 98-5 of Sports Up, first hour of the show today. Brought to you by Jiffie on demand. I actually thought, well, have people actually gotten a little bit complacent?

Or maybe they've gotten a little bit, I don't know, bored with the fact that this team just keeps winning and winning and winning year after year after year.

Because I feel like we have like 80% more people here today. Maybe it's just more about the weather than anything else, but what a turnout. It's an absolutely beautiful day for this. I mean, perfect weather to come out here and be at Gillette Stadium and watch the Patriots practice. And this is sort of the real, you know, this is real football now in terms of training camp. This is the real first practice that you can look at and say, okay, this is sort of what it should look like. The pads are on. And you really could not pick a more picture perfect day to come out and check out the Patriots. Yeah. So again, it is, you know, and it's the padded practice, the first one. It's day three. So it is the first real one. So much so that yesterday Tom Brady didn't even practice. I think that there was just a slight air of panic, at least on Twitter, when it was announced that Brady was here, but not practicing. It's like, oh, God, what's going on? There's one, you know, unverified blog that was like, oh, Tom Brady had an MRI. All fake. No, this is just the new normal under Chill Belichick. Last year, I think it was, I think it felt weird to, I don't know, it did to me.

It's like, well, what's happening here? You know, the guy's been a taskmaster throughout his whole career, his head coach of this team, and it's seemingly worked. So why all of a sudden are the guys, you know, enjoying heavy beers and hot dogs and taking trips to Fenway Park and they're playing cornhole.
