And wouldn't you know it two days ago in my town, I paid $5.99 and 9 tenths of a cent for gas.

Newsom has shut down a lot of oil production in the state.

Donald Trump signed an executive order invoking the Defense Production Act that allows the federal government to accelerate production of critical materials such as oil and gas.

So a company called Sable Offshore restarted their oil operations off the coast of Santa Barbara.

They also had a lot of oil in storage.

And now there's a customer for it.

Chevron is purchasing oil from Sable, and they're going to be refining it at their El Cigando
