without further ado I want to bring on our guest for today,

Gary Steiner.

Gary started his police career in the mid-1970s

and he went all the way through to 2008 so it's 30-plus years being a police

officer for Santa Monica Police Department so he was patrol he did detectives and

he all in the retired I believe a sergeant and he's also recognized,

court recognized expert on confession evidence, which I think is pretty interesting.

So I'm excited to have Gary on Santa Monica the city is insane to me anyways
