Summary

The UK government have finally condemned Israel for withholding aid, the same week The Guardian has reported that 14,000 babies will die unless food is allowed into the region immediately.

Jemma and Marina can't help it, they have to ask, what changed? What took so long? They are pleased but aggrieved

0:48.1	difficult time to be switched on to the news, which reminds us that as hard as it is, being awake to what's happening
0:57.5	might actually be our only option. Yeah. So to start on a personal note, I think obviously
1:05.6	all of us who've been tuned into what's going on, particularly over in Israel and Gaza, it's been incredibly difficult
1:15.3	to square what we're seeing with how we're living at times. So Saturday night, Marina and I went to a
1:22.7	great big sort of fantastic, glitzy birthday bash, and it was really, really, really fun, really fun.
1:29.7	You know, I was the last to leave, full of Jad de Veev, wake up in the morning, feel like
1:34.7	rough as a badger's ass, obviously. And, you know, you've got that kind of afterglow of having
1:39.7	been out with friends and everything. And then I happened to be on my own that day. I turned down the
1:44.9	opportunity to go out with friends and do X, Y and Z because I just was too tired. I just thought,
1:50.2	I'm just going to have a day of chilling. You know, I watch a film and everything. But then you get on
1:53.1	your phone and everything came tumbling down for me, really, because I'm looking at images that are
1:59.4	so horrifying, but they're real and they're in real
2:03.4	time and they're completely traumatic. And it just, I was all over the bloody shop, Marina.
