I've been receiving some requests from some of you to release the three podcasts that

I created years ago on the 1964 Unsolved Murder of Beverly Jaros.

These three episodes were among the first podcasts that I ever created, and it was under

the name American Crime Cast.

You will hear interviews from Beverly's sister Carol, along with her mother Eleanor.

I am very saddened to share that Eleanor has since passed away.

My name is Carl Begeki, and I am a detective with the Garfieldites Police Department.

I've been in the detective bureau 15 years, and I've been an officer for 26.

Detective Carl Begeki is the lead investigator on the cold murder case of Beverly Jaros.

Do you know about how many persons of interest detective Horrigan narrowed the murder suspect

down to?

I don't know initially, but through the years I've always heard that there was just one,

and with an older case like this, obviously you're dealing with a lot of urban legend

mixed in as well.

I've always heard there was just one that he really focused on hard.

Do you know who he thought was the main suspect?

No, I don't want to say the name because there's not enough evidence to make an arrest

there.

I don't want to put anybody's name out there just based on what they were saying throughout

the years.

I know he focused pretty much on one person, and that was primarily it, that was his main

suspect.
