Link is going to be in the podcast description. So we've talked a little bit about Silway's Garden in general,

as well as some edible landscaping ideas.

And I think one of the most natural questions I'll get from non-gardener's,

maybe just people in my life that are my friends or family

that know what I'm up to they know I do epic gardening and they always almost

when they see me they feel that they have to comment for some reason as to why they're not gardening

and one of the most popular ones I get is just I'm too busy and I don't have any time to commit to that.

Which is certainly true for many people. I mean I'm definitely a busy person myself

but I think there are a lot of ways to garden in a lower maintenance or more efficient

or perhaps doing some automation so so So, I'm really curious what sort of your approach to a busy person's garden would be.

Of course, and before we get into the center of the topic, I to say I have to contest I don't I'm not always in the garden even though you may watch the video and have this romanticized view that I'm always there and you know that's not the truth because I probably will spend at the most

I'm being generous five to six hours a week in the growing season.

That's what I can do.

It will be a little bit longer if I'm filming,

obviously, because it takes twice or three times as much to record things as you're doing them.

But if I were to boil it down to actual garden time that's that's basically it. So I try to I'm busy I have to work

besides what I do in the channel so I try to minimize what I have to put in for my

garden to to look better and still produce and the strategies I've come up with through the years

one thing that I have to say people should start doing is mulching. When you mulch you just there are so many things so so many functions that you're hitting with just one strike.

You are, first of all, I'm hitting more than usual because I'm using my grass clipping.
