Last week I had the incredible opportunity to attend the

ISHS Greener City Symposium, which is a prestigious global event where the brightest minds in

plant science and green infrastructure come together to explore innovative solutions in our

rapidly changing world. It's amazing to think that in the face of climate challenges,

cities around the globe are turning to nature for answers,

and the discussions I've witnessed range from the latest breakthroughs in plant biology to revolutionary ideas about sustainable urban landscapes.

Eager to dive deeper into these emerging trends, I made my way to RHS Garden Wisley's Hilltop Science Centre,

and with my horticulturist Hap firmly on, I explored some of the fascinating studies that could reshake the way we think about our own gardens.

From drought-resistant plant varieties that can survive scorching summers to ingenious planting combinations that help prevent flooding,
