Summary
Brad and Graham and joined by Dan Lloyd after Stage 5 of the Giro d'Italia, won by Filippo Ganna in a quite astonishing performance, which Rob Hatch on commentary described as the breakaway performance of the century.
Ganna came into this race with a reputation as a time-trial specialist on the road but blew the race apart with a fantastic ride that left Brad hailing him as a "phenomenon", and the team compare him to some greats of the sport like Jan Ullrich and Miguel Indurain.
Brad thinks the Italian is a far more gifted natural talent and better than he was at the same age. Which poses the question, could Ganna emulate Brad and turn his hand to GC wins?
