Tony, I want to talk about this story from the athletics, John Hollinger, who lays out this wild hypothetical scenario in which Kauai's contract is voided by the NBA as punishment for potential

cap circumvention. The details are all in that story.

I encourage people to go ahead and read it,

but the idea is that the NBA does have the ability.

Adam Silver, the commissioner, has the ability, has the scope within his powers,

to just outright void co-wise contract, thus making him a free agent.

Before we talk about, like like what that looks like, do you think that that would be going too far

if we assume the very worst with the clippers and that they are guilty of cap circumvention?

Yeah, you have to go to the worst case, I think, to do that. And I cannot consume enough Kauai stuff. It is so interesting to me. There's so many interesting takes and layers and documents and people. And like, every time I hear a new point, I'm like, oh, yeah, that's a good point. Then I like switch my stance and then I hear it. I'm like, oh, yeah, like I'm such a sucker right now. And that's why when you say assume the worst, that's important because if they find any sort of thing that's like, yep, in writing confirmed caps or convention, yeah, they probably should avoid his contract, right? Because the assumption could be very easily made that he would not be with the clippers or that he would have signed a different contract with a different team and people keep getting the timeline

wrong of when he didn't did not sign a max regardless of that's importance like he might not be on

the same team the whole NBA might look different it's totally reasonable that that would be a

punishment should the absolute largest scope of NBA criminality.

Criminality is the wrong word be found in this case, which it would be just such a shock

to the system.
