We have to start in Phoenix where the Los Angeles Lakers had a huge lead.

They choked away that huge lead and ultimately were able to hang on to get a win over the Phoenix Suns by a score of 116 to 114.

There's a lot to break down from this game.

An absolutely bonkers, twisty, bizarre, very physical game, where the Lakers had 24 offensive

rebounds and 25 second chance points to help offset shooting 19% from deep. The Lakers'

hero of the game may have been Jared Vanderbilt, arguably, who have been buried on the bench for the

last few weeks. Dylan Brooks hit a go-ahead three with 12 seconds left in the game, part of a

furious comeback where the Lakers late in the fourth quarter just stopped running their offense.

Then Brooks got ejected for what was roughly his billionth confrontation in the game

with LeBron James, the refs who had completely lost control of this game, finally decided that

they had enough.

This game would have been arrested for public drunkenness had not already died from

alcohol poisoning.
