I'd like to call these Friday shows the unofficial start to your weekend, the start to your tailgate this weekend, and here we go.

Keys to a Tennessee football victory in the swamp. Key number one, key number one, block it out. And this is really for this entire week, and I think they've been doing a good job of it. They've discussed it, this being the team. They've talked about the streak, if you will, not winning down there since 03. but they've also acknowledged like, hey, and I thought Jeremiah T. Lander, again, I referenced this on yesterday's show.

Like, I thought he answered it perfectly earlier this week. It's like, I mean, sure, we've heard about it. We've talked about it a little bit, but all I know is that we lost down there when I was a freshman in 23, you know? So for these players in this locker room, many of these guys have beaten Florida twice. It's been in Knoxville, but they've beaten Florida twice. And sure, they've come up short down there in the swamp and in Gainesville, but it just doesn't recollect for those guys. It's more of a thing for the fan base. And it's a big thing. But block it out. You can't control what happened down there in 23 and 21 and all those other games down there that's

been going on since 2003. You can't change any of that and you weren't a part of those for the most part.

So just block it out. Just be you, block it out and go do your thing. And I think that's been what Tennessee's done all week long and we'll need to obviously continue to do down there in the swamp this week.

And number two, got to get off to a good start.
