I'm Pete, joined by Darius and Mike. And, guys, we find ourselves in a familiar position, the biggest game of the season tonight. We've had a few of those, right? Lower stakes for sure earlier, but certainly not

unfamiliar territory. Lakers up three, two, with the chance to move on to the second round,

hopefully in front of a raucous crowd in downtown L.A. tonight. And I would like to start

today's pod previewing this game six on the offensive end of the floor. I would segment out how Memphis defends the

Lakers in two ways. One is when Jared Vanderbilt is on the floor, and then the other is when

he's off. When he's on the floor, they play a style of defense where they stay home with all of their

other guys, and if Jackson is on the floor, which is the vast majority of Vanderbilt's minutes,

Jackson will guard him, and I'm using quotey fingers here, but completely lay off of him.

And basically, if anybody gets in trouble, if any of his teammates get in trouble,

Jackson is there to defend the rim with the concession of a corner three from Vanderbilt.

They're totally willing to give that up.

When Vanderbilt is not on the floor, the Grizzlies have switched a lot more.

And that's where I want to start, is attacking switching.
