Yeah, so this image shows two galaxies that have been interacting with each other for 25 to 75 million

years and they're now connected by this haze of stars and gas.

As you mentioned they're called the penguin and the egg.

It turns out the penguin used to be a spiral of arms but that's kind of unwound.
