What is the wilderness?

It's an isolated place.

A lonely place.

A solitary place.

A secluded place. an unpopulated place.

You know, I was pretty popular until I decided to go full on with God.

And then all of a sudden, I didn't have any friends.

Family members didn't want to have a lot to do with us.

I mean, here I thought I'd done the right thing,

and everybody was going to be excited for me

that God had called me to preach.

And it didn't turn out to be that way at all.

And I felt so lonely.
