1:36.0 | really tossing it around and committing to it a few years ago, I had, and and Jenny and a few other women out to my parents branch. |
1:47.0 | They're about seven of us. And we invited Dr. Kurt Thompson, who I had met at a leadership conference and I really fell in love with his work and asked him to come and hang out with seven women for a weekend. |
2:02.0 | And he did. And I think that was the beginning of wow having a group of seven and going this deep and really creating a safe space. |
2:13.0 | I have to admit I wanted more and I always feel like I want more than other people. |
2:19.0 | And I tend to hold my cards back. So after that, it had been tossed around like maybe we could should keep doing this, but I felt like I don't want to put that demand on people. |
2:30.0 | Continuing something I like to be very open handed, even though inside I have a want from like, gosh, I like this is life. Like this is my favorite thing in the world is going to steep with women. |
2:41.0 | If people want to commit to this, that's like two more than I can ask for. So then fast forward a couple years later, and Kurt actually started writing a book and he actually that time at the branch really influenced him. |
2:53.0 | And really kind of, you know, kind of painted a vision. And so we kind of all started talking about what it would look like to really have a safe, consistent, very vulnerable place for a few women. |
3:08.0 | And then it just kind of grew from there. And so I call I'm a facilitator. Please don't call me the leader of this group. I won't call you the leader. She's later anyway. |
3:18.0 | There's just a handful of us. Everybody is a leader in summer guard carrying something heavy. And that's kind of what brought everybody together. And so there's been a lot of talk about work and marriage and and pressure and and difficulties that we're all facing. |
