Who would have thought that would have been saying that a few years ago?

And how good did it feel, Dave, to be in the Champions League, watching Villa, watching the players,

lying up, the anthem playing hearing the Villa fans cheer

that first time it came on.

How good was that last night?

Yeah, it was fantastic.

And it was the culmination, really, of that long time, really.

It's been such a long time, obviously more than 40 years since, since Villa were in the

European Cup Europeans League. And I thought the performance last night was the perfect tribute to Gary Shore and all

the players really who have played for Villa rover the last couple of years in particular, and
