We talk so much about the Knicks and the playoffs and does it matter?

Does it not matter? And I was thinking about this game, watching it last night and trying to pick out the things that mattered and didn't matter.

And I'm honestly confused about whether or not I'm upset about this game. I'm confused because when I start

getting upset, I stop myself. And then when I start being apathetic about it, then I start

getting upset about it. And here's the reason why. One, I don't think we're going to see a lot of

what we saw last night in the playoffs. For example, we didn't see Mitch last night. So Mitch doesn't play. This is a

big part of this whole thing, right? He's going to be there, and he's someone that is such a

key cog in what the Knicks do. And two, I don't think the games are going to get cold like they

got cold last night. So I know that Che Gildj's SGA is the foul merchant and he's able to get all these things. And that's part of it. But I thought that there were a couple of fouls, even though I'm all over Carl Anthony Towns all the time for fouling out. There were a couple of fouls on him that I don't think are getting called in the playoffs. And I think he's still out there and doesn't fall out. Yeah, right, because he fell out of every single game. So I'm not all that upset about it because I don't think that you're going to see this type of game in the postseason, even though there was a lot of defense played. Good morning, Boomer. How are you? Yeah, good morning, Jay. And I'm right there in lockstep with you. This would be a great finals, by the way. Oh, yeah. It would be a great finals because both

teams played defense last night. I'm going to tell you who the culprits are. The culprits are three starters for the next. It's Bridges. It's O.G. And it's Jalen Brunson. 17 of 52 shooting. Yeah.

The disparity in foul shooting and the amount of misses that the Knicks had. I mean, but this was a tight game, and the Knicks made two runs to get themselves back in the game. It was just one of those nights where the other team was playing defense and the Knicks had a deal with that. And this is when their shooting goes a little haywire. So last night we talked about make or miss league. That's exactly what it was. We can argue about the Carl Anthony Towns fouls, the ticot ticke fowls here. SGA, you know, the foul merchant, as you called them,

and everybody else calls him in the league.

Everybody else calls him in the league. But that's a great player. That's just a great player that knows how to get to the line, and then when he gets to the line, he doesn't miss. Yeah. As opposed to, you know, hitting the front of the rim with guys that shouldn't be missing for the Knicks. but I got to say this.
