Anyway, that's not what this is about.

I want to give you a little bit of an update on the FTC rule on non-competes and some of the ancillary

conversations going on around it. Let's start with the FTC rule. When I first talked to you about it,

I told you that I had suspicions that it may not see the light of day.

What's happened is it did get published in the register.

The 120 days has not expired.

In other words, the rule goes into effect.

I believe it's the beginning of September.

Since that time, we talked about how the U.S. Chamber of Commerce filed for injunctive

relief in the Eastern District of Texas, a federal court, for looking for a national stay on the

entire rule, just for all non-competes period. The court granted a partial stay for all members

of the United States Chamber of Commerce. The court further said that they'll

consider it in its entirety and issue a more formal global order. I believe the day was August 20th.

In other words, they're going to rule whether it's going to be a national stay before the rule goes into effect. So for the world
