State football program had accomplished in just a couple of years time.

And for a brief moment it was but then about a quarter and a half or sorry a half a quarter into the football game

It turned into a night of dejection a night in which there was a feeling in the pitier your stomachs if you were watching this game on television across the country or if you were in Doke Campbell Stadium and you saw the injury yourself but a figure a person who was celebrated as the face of the change, the rapid change you had seen from a team that went under 500 to a team that is now squarely in the college football playoff chase. That player went down and he was injured.

Jordan Travis, halfway through the first quarter,

was brought down after a quarterback run of about 15 yards

by several North Alabama Lions.

And as he was going to the turf,
