All right, I thought today was a good work day. You know, we had, you know, obviously as I've kind of addressed, I mean, you know, getting ready for Syracuse, I mean a lot of different looks, a lot of different things that you've got to, you'll, be prepared for, you offensively. Part of that was, you know, even just, you know, getting the scout group to try to emulate, you know, as much of the speed and different things that you could see. We still try to get, you know, good on good work during the course of practice. I thought it was, you know, good for the most part. It's still some areas of consistency where we have to improve. We've got to continue to push to be better. You know, but, you know, I thought both sides of the ball had really good moments of practice, but you know, at the end of the day, it's just that constant, you know, challenge that we've got to, we got to embrace ourselves and, you know, as we're trying to take the next step of where we want to go. But I thought our guys, you know, they've had the right, they've had the right they've had the right

mindset it's just the application of it is something we got to continue to work on

with our consistency but all in all I thought it was a good day and you know a good

start to the week you know you guys value Darius versatility

but it's not a lot of I guess, study, the goal

that's going to know which in three, four positions every single one.

I mean, it's, like, I think I might have mentioned a couple weeks ago, maybe last week,

just there are no words for what he does and the investment that he makes.

Because it's hard, you know, to think, you know, if you play center at all, I mean, you've got an extreme workload,

which, you know, obviously he's done that and he's got to be ready for that every week.

But then also to be able to play the right side, the left side, you know, all the matchups. You know, there's just, it's a, it's an extensive, it's an extensive challenge. But, you know, it's one that he embraces. And I think that it's, you know, that's one of the, you know, key figures to our football team through the first five games. It's been him because he's allowed, you know, even when guys have been down, I mean, he's been able to step in and, you know, just his versatility has really done wonders for us and allowed us to, you know,

with some challenging moments. I mean, he's kind of held it together for us.

A guy like Destin, is there something that has to kind of unblock to take what he does on the

practice field into games or you got? i mean he's i think he does

you know been really good as just that consistency of of you know all things and you know he's i think

he's getting better i thought that was a big play for him there in the game on saturday i thought

today he responded well still some some some things we have to clean up you know just

with some of the finer details you know and that's you know as a freshman to go in

and to do the things that he's done here early really proud of him you know

we're talking actually talking yesterday he came up to the office I mean I to see

his to see what he's done and he wasn't here for the spring you know he to jump in in the summer and learn all the things that we do. And, you know, we put a good amount on them. And then when Jekai went down and, you know, obviously he earned the opportunity to go, you know, be a starter. And, you know, you see, you see potential. You see the, you know, the flashes.

It's just continue to work the consistency of all the details.
