We had a sneaking suspicion that we might be back here on Warchance TV live on a Sunday.

It was just not known at what point on Sunday we would be here. But just like we convened for the

postgame show, we are now in the post-career show for a few Florida State coaches as today,

just after 5 p.m. Eastern time, Florida State, Mike Norvelle, announcing three significant staff changes.

Well, Mike Norvel has dismissed both coordinators tonight.

Alex Atkins, Adam Fuller, have been relieved of their job responsibilities,

and a third coach, wide receivers coach, Ron Dugans,

Florida State Legend himself National Champion.

Ron Dukins has been relieved of his duties as well. So Florida State breaking news, no more coordinators, active coordinators on the

staff for the offense and the defense and the wide receivers coach now dismissed. Gene Williams,

your initial thoughts as this came down just a few minutes after five o'clock on the East Coast.

Yeah, I mean, it had to happen.

We talked about extensively last night if you were on the postgame show that this was,

it absolutely had to come down.

And if it didn't come down, my stinking suspicion was that it means Norbel's gone,

but I think this tells us Mike Norbella is not going anywhere because obviously you would have just cleaned house with him as well. But yeah, I think there's some question whether both

coordinators would go. So that's been thrown out there. So it's a very positive sign to me that

it signals that Mike Norville was willing to make sweeping changes, that he understands the

magnitude of the suckage that has come down this year.
