Saturday, December 27th, 2025. I'm Jared Halpern. It has been a year of political upheaval for Republicans and Democrats.

I think it's clear at this moment the energy is with the left wing of the Democratic Party.

And President Trump is rewriting immigration rules.

We cannot continue to have the fraud and abuse that has happened over the years from some of

these companies, and so that's why Project Firewall came into action.

This is the Fox News Rundown from Washington.

Thank you. President Trump has spent this year reshaping American politics, the role of government,

relationships with U.S. allies, and even the power of the presidency.

That reshaping was met with adoration and alarm, energizing bases on both ends of the political

spectrum.

All of that will no doubt shape the midterms, with Republicans and Democrats finding their

political footing in the new year.

But before we focus on the election year ahead, Fox News Radio political analyst Josh Crossauer

joined me for a conversation of the biggest political stories and moments that defined 2025.

pretty decisive election victory, you have the Democratic Party that was moving to the middle,

that, you know, and Rahm Emanuel coming out, and Gavin Newsom speaking out against excesses on the left wing of the party.

It looked like there might be a genuine moderate moment at the beginning of the year.
