Vice President Kamala Harris

faces her first big test in her bid for president a debate against former

President Trump. You know she's going to talk about a new way forward and he needs to

talk about his own new way forward and what he thinks that needs to look like for the country.

And Congress returns this week with a fast approaching deadline to keep government open

beyond election day.

Regardless of the president, you don't want to have them staring at a

potential government shutdown right after they start office, be it a new

president Harris or a new president Trump on January 21st.

This is the Fox News rundown from Washington. How important is the ABC presidential debate on Tuesday?

Well, it's hard to think of a more consequential moment in the 2024 presidential race

than the CNN presidential debate back on June 20. in the

2012 presidential race than the CNN presidential debate back on June 27th between President Biden and former President Trump.
