Summary

The U.S. has entered yet another partial government shutdown, after a Democrat-led series of proposed ICE reforms attached in DHS’s funding for the upcoming fiscal year failed to gain Republican support. Meanwhile, Attorney General Pam Bondi came under fire for her handling of the Epstein files, clashing with lawmakers over claims that she took part in an alleged “cover-up.” FOX News Chief Congressional Correspondent Chad Pergram joins The Rundown to break down the arguments over DHS funding, before giving his analysis of Pam Bondi’s heated exchanges before the House Judiciary Committee. Later, Director of the Federal Housing Finance Agency Bill Plute joins to explain President Trump’s efforts to make housing affordable again. Learn more about your ad choices. to immigration operations and sanctuary cities.

So it affects a lot. And I think the one thing that people are concerned about the most is the

1:52.8

fact that people who are impacted by this, this is their third dance at the prom, meaning that

1:58.7

there was the full government shutdown in the fall, then there was a

partial government shutdown a few weeks ago, and now it's just DHS. Now, that's only 4% of the federal
