I'm Jonathan Kay.

As some of you know, I grew up in Montreal,

where I had the good fortune to attend a high quality school called Selwyn House.

And as it turned out, my graduating class to attend a high quality school called Selwyn House.

And as it turned out, my graduating class of about 40 boys went on to do some pretty amazing

things.

One is a famous Canadian artist.

Others became bankers, engineers, accountants, lawyers, and ad executives.

There's also at least one doctor, thoracic surgeon Talat Chugtai, who's appeared on this

podcast in the past to talk about COVID. One friend I still keep in touch with is a successful chemist,

another is one of Canada's leading veterinarians. One guy became a pilot and last time I checked

was flying 747s from Toronto to Hong Kong.

Yet another went into film, and there are at least two professional writers, me and another

Torontonian, who became one of Canada's best-known food writers.

There are also at least four members of my graduating class who went on to the American

West Coast to make their careers in the tech industry, and two of them became senior executives
