Hello, and welcome back into the podcast that we like to call from the podium where you hear directly from your Kansas City chiefs.

I'm host and audio producer of the Arrowhead Pride Podcast Network, Steve Inserta had a really busy day today at Arrowhead Stadium as the chiefs continue their preparation for Sunday's massive game against the Dallas Cowboys.

We are at the midseason point. So today was kind of the midseason check in day as far as media availability goes.

That means we've got a big lineup on today's podcast.

We heard from Chief Star Tide and Travis Kelsey offensive coordinator Eric Bianne me defensive coordinator Steve Spagnolo as well as chiefs owner Clark Hunt.

Having a late buying this year for you and how have you been feeling last year?

I mean, I'm working through all the discomfort, the soreness throughout the season, just like everyone else.

I wouldn't think that, you know, mine is more than anybody's or anything like that.

I think that everybody at this point of the year needs to really lock in on their recovery and their week to week, you know, progression in terms of how they're feeling athletically out there on the field.

I just been fortunate that we got great trainers here and it's it's just been, you know, a working progress.

Travis, how far is it to say that this this year has been the most physical opposing defenses have really tried to get yet in the first five yards?

I don't think it's I'm pretty sure it's been like this since 2015, 16 when I first started to get on this probably more so relevant now just because I'm

a more vital part of the offense and you're seeing the camera on me a little bit more throughout and on top of that, the third down stuff, the calls have been for me in some instances and I haven't been able to get open for Pat.
