We have a very special guest today, one that had served his country in the most arduous environments.

He joined the Marine Corps at a young age to be an infantry rifleman.

And then he transitioned to becoming a reconnaissance Marine

where he served several years overseas in Okinawa, Japan,

where he focused his skills and tradecraft.

And then he actually transitioned to another force reconnaissance unit in Camp Pendleton, California.

And then from there, the Marine Corps transitioned into activating the Marine Special Operations Command where he served the remainder of his

military career and now he is a business owner and the chief executive officer for gunnies and he does

home repairs and floor and we will get into that in the very final

segment but it's a it's a real honor to introduce Earl Wakanabo who had served with me

both over in Okinawa although we were in different platoons.

We had gone to a few different places in mainland Japan as well as serving there in

Okinawa.

And then also we served in the same force reconnaissance platoon with First Force Reconnaissance

Company just prior to the activation of the Marine Special Operations Command.

He was a Marine in our platoon that we deployed in 2005 to Iraq, which I would say in Iraq,

that was probably the height of the insurgency and a very violent time that many of the al-Qaeda organizations

were doing everything they could to kill Americans and we did everything we could to kill them
