Jeremy Camp is a singer and songwriter whose story has been told in music and in a movie about his life.

One of his most well-known songs is a simple but powerful declaration

of faith. I still believe it was written in a time of deep heartache and grief. As a young man,

he had to make a choice. Would he trust that God is good even when life is not or walk away

from his faith? That heartbreaking season forged a faith that

has been the foundation of Jeremy's life. You know, I'm from Indiana and, you know, I went to,

I think it was a camp probably when I was 16 years old out in California. And I remember just loving

the camp, God transformed my life. I was 16 years old

and I wasn't serving the Lord and God got a hold of my heart. And basically just told me, you know,

Jeremy, I want to use you, but you're on the edge of a cliff about ready to jump off and you need

to run as far away from that cliff as possible. And so I remember just saying, okay, God, I surrender my life to you. And so, you know, going back home to Indiana, when I turned 18, I really felt like God was calling me to go back out to California because there was a Bible college that was related to that camp called Calvary Chapel Bible College.
