one of the finest coverage teams in all the land. I'm not gonna say finest. I mean I might want to say finest,

but I don't have to be that way. There are many fine coverage teams and we are one of them and we're going to talk about football on this Wednesday pod because we had an interesting round of interviews with Ryan Day and several Ohio State players on Tuesday and so we're just going to do some football talk.

We're not going to have texture questions. We're not going to get into nonsense.

We're going to save some of that. We're not going to get into other stuff we're just going to talk about this

football team where they are heading into this Maryland game and I just thought I thought it was a good round of stuff

so it's nice when you have a good round of stuff to be able to lead your discussion.

Nathan, what did you get as the vibe? I think primarily from Ryan Day, because I think it's hard to get a vibe sometimes from players about it, especially

early in the week, just about what's ahead with Maryland. Like what how

how real is this Maryland thing? Somebody asked Ryan Day if this was the best team they face so far and I don't know it's like one of those things.

Maryland dominated Penn State, but yeah I mean he can't answer that question, but it's like, and I wrote about this earlier in the week, it's like I can't tell, okay, Maryland beat Penn State if I was ranked, I mean you know if you're ranking them, Penn State's

O and three, of course you'd rank Maryland, Maryland ahead of Penn State, are they actually

better?

I don't know, but like what did you, what was your read on Ryan Day and what he

actually thinks about this game well and I think especially when you're

asking particular players about it I think they're so fixated on their

position or their job that day. So I think Ryan Day respects Maryland, but I really think it's more about the big picture and where this team is today and where it needs to be in December.

That doesn't mean obviously they have to win Saturday's game in order to get where they want to be in December.
