Now, we have been working our way rather methodically and slowly through the book of Ephesians,

and so we'll go back there this morning. Would you turn in your Bible to Ephesians chapter 5? We ended up last week

at chapter 5, verse 7. And so we will pick up the text at verse 8.

And I want to read this section from Ephesians 5-8 through 14 as the setting for the

Ephesians 5, starting at verse 8, for you were formerly darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children

of light. For the fruit of the light consists in all goodness and righteousness and truth,

Do not participate in the unfruitful deeds of darkness, but instead even expose them,
