Ramsey Investigates. On tonight show, I have a very special guest. Her name is Minnie Alford,

and she published a book back in March 29th of last year, 2018, about a serial killer who

operated in eastern Washington, Spokane, primarily.

His name was Robert Yates, and the title of her book is Robert Yates,

from Darkness to Light.

And she wrote a very detailed book about his life and experience,

and also from a Christian perspective about how he found some type of salvation or redemption in jail.

And she's also been in communication with other very disturbing people who are in jails throughout the United States.

And we can talk more in detail about that.

So the book, yeah, so it was a very detailed book.

How did you become interested in the subject of Robert Yates and his serial killer past?

Well, Robert was kind of intriguing to me because actually his grandmother lives just a few towns

down or lived for my hometown, where I'm actually in Tennessee.

And what got me on to Robert was his grandmother murdered his grandfather back in 1945.

I guess most people would say out of the blue, they said from the family's perspective,

there had never been any inclinations or abuse.

And she woke up one morning and chopped up Robert's grandfather with an axe.

And that was what brought me into Robert was reading about the murders disclosed to where I'm at in my state.
